This Standard roller chain is available with pitches from 1/2 to 3 inches. Chain numbers are determined by multiplying the pitch by 80 (a 1/2 inch pitch chain would be a No. 40 chain). A roller chain & sprocket strand can be shortened by removing links and lengthened by adding whole or a half links (offset links).D50BS17H sprocket with 1-1/8″ finished bore is a durable, high quality, and precision double sprocket with 17 hardened teeth. Sprockets that have hardened teeth last longer and are much more durable than those that don’t. Something else that is notable about this sprocket is that it fully meets all ANSI Standards, which insures proper contact between the #50-2 double roller chain & sprocket and sprocket thus preventing premature wear or breakage. This sprocket is also black oxide coated which increases resistance to the environment and will prevent early rust build up. D50BS17H sprockets with a 1-1/8″ finished bore are supplied with a standard key-way and 2 set screws.
